Designed as promotional material for the launch of the football film '89' in November 2017, this single page comic tells the incredible story behind Arsenal's last minute championship deciding victory against the mighty Liverpool at Anfield in 1989.
The action concentrates on Arsenal's second goal, from keeper John Lukic's throw, Lee Dixon's pass, Alan Smith's turn and Michael Thomas' flick over Bruce Grobbelaar.
Fantastic to be invited to the World Film Premiere of '89' in London, where I handed over a commemorative print to Arsenal legend & Executive Producer Lee Dixon.

and finally the best bit, when I handed over a framed print to the 'Divine Ponytail' himself!

I designed a series of 4 prints to celebrate Celtic's European Cup triumph in Lisbon 1967.

Second print focuses on all eleven victorious Celtic players plus legendary manager Jock Stein, parading the European cup trophy.
The third print combines elements from the first two prints...
And the final print features Celtic's greatest player Jimmy 'Jinky' Johnstone, in characteristic action, skipping past defenders and unleashing a ferocious shot.

I enjoyed designing this collection of three Coventry City prints.
The inspiration for the first print was Keith Houchen's spectacular diving header for Coventry against Spurs in the 1987 FA Cup Final, one of Wembley's most iconic goals.
The second print tells the story of the game, how huge underdogs Coventry overcame a Spurs side containing Glenn Hoddle, Chris Waddle and Ossie Ardiles.
The third print celebrates Coventry's 2017 EFL Checkatrade Trophy win at Wembley, 30 years after their famous FA Cup victory.
All these Coventry City prints are available in my SHOP
